Setting up Groq - free AI in 2 minutes

Groq is a free AI service and the easiest way to get started with Quillon. No credit card required.

Step 1: Create your free Groq account

Head to console.groq.com and sign up. It's free and takes about a minute. No credit card needed.

Step 2: Get your API key

Once you're in, look for "API Keys" in the left sidebar. Click "Create API Key" and give it a name - something like "Quillon" so you remember what it's for. Copy the key that appears.

Important: This is the only time you'll see it, so don't close the window until you've copied it.

Step 3: Connect it to Quillon

Open Quillon, go to Settings → AI Configuration, select Groq, paste your key, and hit Save. You'll see a green "AI Operational" indicator in the bottom left of the app when it's working.

That's it. You're ready to use all of Quillon's AI features.

A note on free tier limits

Groq's free tier is generous and works well for everyday use. If you're doing a lot of resume tailoring in a short period, you might occasionally hit a temporary limit - just wait a few minutes and try again. This rarely affects normal use.
