How AI works in Quillon
Quillon uses AI to help tailor your resume, write cover letters, and manage your search workflow. Instead of charging you extra for AI, Quillon lets you connect the AI you already use - or set up a free one in minutes.
Why this approach:
- You might already be paying for ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI tool. Quillon lets you put that subscription to work.
- Your resume and career data stay private - nothing is stored on Quillon's servers.
- You stay in control of which AI you use and how much you spend.
The four options - explained simply:
Groq - Free and fast (recommended) Groq is a free AI service that works great with Quillon. You don't need a credit card to get started, and setup takes about 2 minutes. This is the best starting point for most people. Set up Groq →
OpenAI - If you're already using ChatGPT If you have a ChatGPT account, you can use the same company's API with Quillon. Note that API access is separate from a ChatGPT subscription and requires a small amount of prepaid credit - but usage is light and most people spend just a few dollars a month. Set up OpenAI →
Anthropic - If you're already using Claude Similar to OpenAI, if you use Claude, you can connect it to Quillon. API access is separate from a Claude.ai subscription and requires prepaid credit at console.anthropic.com. Set up Anthropic →
Local AI - Completely private, runs on your computer This option runs AI directly on your machine - nothing ever goes online. It's the most private option and works without internet. It requires a bit more setup and a computer with enough memory, but we'll walk you through it step by step. Set up Local AI →
Not sure where to start? Go with Groq. It's free, takes 2 minutes, and you can always switch later.
